So today we actually did some hard work, but lets not skip the morning. I woke up at 7.30 and luckily I didn't had any troubles with jetlag. After I had some breakfast and freshend up a bit, I was ready begin my first real day of my internship. Like in the Netherlands we used bikes to get to work (,one difference is you are legaly obligated to wear a helmet when you cycle, which kinda suckes). When we arrived at the University, Thor (our "employer") gave us a short tour through the campus and told us some stories about the uni, like the fact that they have 51.000 students! We went to Thor's office and he gave us our first assignment: checking the references for his new book. With that said the first thing I learned from my internship is how to check references and the (internatiol) language of checking and correcting. Its quite usefull, but to be honest, it got boring after a while. Luckily we got a different assignment after out lunchbreak. We had to do some research on the internet and find the email adresses for the right persons. Around 16.30 we reunited with Thor again and we went back home. The rest of the day wasn't very interesting as we did some groceries and relaxed. Tomorow will be a fun day as we are going to domsome researpch at the beach (and yes, it including some swimming ;)).
